Commercial Description:
An American Wheat Beer brewed with red wheat and boat loads of amarillo hops gives this summer brew a lemony finish. The slight haze in the bottle is from the bottle-conditioning, where yeast is added to the bottle for a secondary fermentation. Gumballhead is a Skingraft Comics hero. Check out Skingraft Comics and Records at <a href=http://www.skingraftrecords.com>SkingraftRecords.com. Cheers!

A hazy orange beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with a light touch of wheat, while the wheat has a stronger presence in the flavor on a sweet malty back ground, and still with a distinct hoppyness. OK, but nothing spectacular - I’m not that fond of the strong hoppyness combined with the wheat.

(Bottle 65 cl) Slightly hazy golden with a small, creamy, white head. Fresh aroma of citrusy hops. Medium-bodied with some sweetish malt, but otherwise completely dominated by fresh aroma hops. Quite lovely, but in style far from your typical American Wheat - thankfully! 170406

Bottled. Hazy deep golden, brief heead. Bubblegum aroma.. Sweetish up front with loads of aromatic hops. Soft but clean mouthfeel. Refreshing with salrt, fairly bitter finish. A wheat beer hopped to hell, which is a good thing when talking about American wheats...

Tan/beige. Moderately cloudy. Huge citric dry-hop aroma. Didn't peg it for Amarillo, but I've had trouble pegging that hop in the past so no big surprise. Clean pale malt flavours, a bit of bitterness. Wheat shows only in the finish, alongside lemon. A different take on the style, though I didn't get the phenols promised by the name.

Hazy golden color. Very nice aroma, sweet fruity and resiny hops, very fresh. Quite weak body, some malty sweetness, and most of all an excellent extreme hopping. Really refreshing and enjoyable!

(draft): Medium head atop yellow-brown body. Aroma is medium sweet, some tart, wheaty, lemon, mint herbal. Taste is mild sweet, spicy, light mint, some fruit, finishes light grassy/herbal. Light body and light acidity.

Bottle at Kookfest 06. Gold, off white lasting head. Subtle US hop aroma. Good in mouth, good pale malts, nice body. Good grapefruit finish. Wheat beer with good Amarillo hops.
