Typical american wheat appearance: clear orange-amber in color. The aroma was hoppy and wheat-like. The flavor was hops first and almost an aftertaste level of strength for the wheat base. Mouthfeel was medium bodied and carbonated. Enjoyable and refreshing for the summer days. Boutip (2377), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 20, 2006 Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy gold color beer with a huge bubbly head with average retention. Aroma of citrusy hops is overpowering and I could not discern any wheat. Taste is also totally dominated by the hops and leave very little place for the wheat. Not bad overall, I just don’t see were the American wheat fits in because I could not detect any presence of wheat in this beer. badlizard (2356), Berkeley, California, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 26, 2008 Pours a very lightly hazy golden-orange color. A frothy, snow white head settles slowly to a thin film, leaving random spots and patches of sticky lacing behind. The nose is delicate but hoppy, with notes of lemongrass, light orange and grapefruit providing a bright spark atop pale, toasted malts and cereal grains. The flavor is a perfect compliment, with those same citrus hops shining triumphantly alongside a light, toasted honey-wheat bread backdrop. Medium-bodied and smooth, drinking easy and finishing dry. Refreshing. I could drink this all day long by the pool. Great summertime beer. Spiesy (2333), Global Citizen, Greater London, England
