With that said, pours orange with a small off white head, and light to medium carbonation. Aroma is citrus/pineapple, with some malt and wheat. Taste is hoppy, some wheat and dough, with a bitter hoppy finish. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA

Lots of hop aroma that smells like the best homebrewed pale ale. lots of surupy sweet amarillo hops. This is an awesome wheat beer! This brew has the most robust palate for a wheat beer. 4.8%? I think this version is a little higher. India Wheat beer? I think so. This one is even hoppier than i remember last years version. My only gripe is that its filtered.....
Hmm, this is a pretty hoppy wheat beer, probably to hoppy for most. The aroma is full of amarillo hops. palate is full with hints of clove and orange, somewhat like that of oberon. There is not much malt, but since when do wheat beers have malt?

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 14, 2006 Mostly clear pour from this 22 oz bottle. Not much head on there either. Aromas were very sweet citrus. Peachy too. No Gumball as I had expected. The flavor was very similar. I detected what must have been the yeast that seemed familiar to me from other 3F brews. Some Gumball on the finish, but still just mostly hops. Good, but not what I expected at all. scraff (1946), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Dark amber, lasting white head with great lace. Aroma is all about lemony citrus hops. Just a nice change of pace from the the "BIG" brews. Flavor is certainly lemony, citrusy, spicy, and wheaty. Medium bodied, smooth, velvety, quick dry finish. A summer thirst quencher without the ABV kick. As the weather warms, find some asap..... MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 29, 2004 Clear gold-copper, slightly off whitish head leaves nice lacing. Nose is distinctly non-wheaty, primarily quite hoppy and somewhat citric, far more like an IPA or even an IIPA than a wheat of any sort. Flavor is also quite IPA-ish, certainly loads of hops, some toasty malts at end, sweet and sticky. There’s a bit more of a sweetness to it in the background than most IPAs, but this, while quite good, doesn’t taste anything like a wheat beer. Can we just call it a wheat IPA and get over it? | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 1, 2003 On tap-3F Brewery. Darker yellow with thin head. Has a full hop aroma and is hoppy on the tongue. No noticeable wheatiness IMHO. Finishes slightly bitter. StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 11, 2005 Beautiful hazy orange in color with a minimal, bubbly white head. Aroma is very crisp; hoppy, pine, grass and honey. Taste is very good and refreshing, initially seeming like a Belgian Wit crossed with an American IPA. Pineapples and oranges really come out. Some hints at vanilla and amarillo, transitioning taste to resemble something similar to the sweetness of strawberry Pop Tart frosting. Body is a little thin, but perfect for a summer quaff. Highly hopped and carbonated, but the malts play a good supporting role. Finish is bitter sweet. Summer beer? - hell yes it is. Matches the season perfectly. Thanks for the extra bottle, MrFacto! Aroma is very hoppy... mostly citrusy grapefruity hops. It doesn’t look or smell like any American Wheat I’ve had.. but ok? Some wheatyness in the finish... very slight. More like an APA with some tartness in the end. Yeah, it’s tasty... but dunno about the style here.
