But not in a sticky way like Grants Fresh Hop. Why can’t I find something like this in Buffalo? @ Buckeye Hoptoberfest, hopped by them ryan (1781), Beltsville, Maryland, USA

Outstanding amarillo aroma. Straw yellow served with no head. It was hard to get a good look at it becasue 3F serves their beer in a plastic cup. I love the flavor of amarillo hops. Very bitter for the style. I thought it was kind of harsh to drink. Overall, I wouldn’t expect any less that this from these guys. 11026 (1779), Alabama, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 14, 2004 Bottle. Poured a medium amber color. Pretty clear. White head is medium lived. Good lacing. Aroma is wheaty, some spices, touches of the amarillo hops. Nicely balanced. Taste is somewhat spicy and malty. Hops kick it up a bit. Fairly well done. sneagrams3 (1761), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 19/20 | May 28, 2006 Once again, thanks to Eric (tannertavernboys) for bringing me back some tasty 3F from Dark Lord day. Clear and golden with an amber tint. Ring of white head. Citrus hop nose. Caramel malt aromas. Medium and smooth.with a zesty dry finish. Wheaty and grassy. Lively with a sweet citrus note. Leaves a mildly tart, sour flavor in the finish. Slight apple note. Second glass. Nice sized sediment, but still rather clear. More cirtus and floralness in the nose. Honeyish. Delicious. As it warms it opens up and stretches out, broadening the flavor profiles. Dry and more intense yeast note. Hops are bigger and more layered. Hop notes include citrus and a floral spiciness. Notes of fruit and cherries? Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

Taste is green, raw, and bitter. Hoppy and spicy. Bitter finish. Light body, but very smooth and drinkable. A well hopped wheat beer. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 20, 2004 Clear amber body with drippy, soap-like lacing. Strong grapefruit aroma with green apple sweetness. The flavor starts with the same elements as the aroma except for a dry, graininess at the finish. I assume the husky finish is due to the wheat. To be honest, I didn’t get much out of this beer besides the hop goodness. I think it would be best enjoyed quaffed cold on a hot day instead of served at 60F and analyzed.
