Commercial Description:
An American Wheat Beer brewed with red wheat and boat loads of amarillo hops gives this summer brew a lemony finish. The slight haze in the bottle is from the bottle-conditioning, where yeast is added to the bottle for a secondary fermentation. Gumballhead is a Skingraft Comics hero. Check out Skingraft Comics and Records at <a href=http://www.skingraftrecords.com>SkingraftRecords.com. Cheers!

Sampled at the Great Taste of the Midwest. Positioned as a hoppy wheat. I love the way these guys think. Faint hemp aroma. No head to speak of...deep gold in color. Very heavily hopped for a wheat. Very nice flavor. I could drink this as a session beer. I am becoming more and more impressed with 3 Floyds.

Bottle from EithCubes - Thanks! Pours a rich golden color with a light haze. Smaller white head. Nose is full of hops. Wow, not what I’d expected. Taste is also hoppy with a good crispness. Some hints of citrus and yeast.

this shit reeks of hops. almost smells like an india pale. pour is dark yellow with a small white head left. taste is pleasing but pretty grassy. like the labels say, this sure isnt normal. this is no where near what i would expect an american wheat to be. ill drink it sure, but even though its a FFF i feel like its not something i would buy again. taste is just not very pleasing to me. note- the more i drank of this, the more i enjoyed it, but my rating is still the same. this is good but its not FFF good...

Pours a light orange color with a white head. Aroma is of light wheat, and citrus hops. Flavor is slightly wheaty, with a bitter citrus hop finish. A very american hoppy wheat.

Medium sized offwhite head, good retention and a little large bubbled lacing. Clear copper color. Nice, Big, piney nose with a hint of bubblegum. Light body, light creaminess. Fruity hops, light malts and some stone fruit flavors combine for an easy drinker. Finish is dry and fruity with a decent bite. Nice hoppy AWA.

(RATING 700!)this wheat beer had a clear body with a small white head that disapeared quickly.the aroma was a mix of straw, whaet, and pine like hops.the flavor was a nice mix of ice tea, hay, flowers, and pine.it had a nice mouthfeel and the palate was on the full side.

Draft at The Map Room, Chicago. Pour is slightly hazy and much darker yellow than most American Wheats I have had. Nice white head. Aroma is a touch of wheat, but mostly pine hops. Taste has the hops jumping out at you initially, with big pine flavor. The middle was some nice wheat body, and the finish leads to resinous hops. Overall, an interesting brew, and very well made.

22 oz bottle. Cloudy amber color with light head. Grainy-lemon aroma that wanders into APA/IPA territory. Complex wheat-lemon-grain taste with a pretty nice amount of hoppiness. Nice mouthfeel & smooth finish. Definately the best wheat beer I’ve ever had - if you can really call this a wheat beer. I don’t think 3Fs can make a mediocre brew.
