Oct 25, 2004 Didn’t really have a whole lot of wheat beer qualities, it tasted great & was very enjoyable, but wasn’t really brewed to the style, copper color, small white head, a bit of lacing, slight bubble gum in the nose, very rich & smooth, some hints of bread & yeast in the flavors along with some clove or other spice, malty finish

Jul 13, 2008 At FFF Brewpub. Golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of hops (Amarillo), pine and resin. Taste of pine, light wheat and lemon, mixed with tons of hops. Body is a little sticky. There’s something about this one that just isn’t right…

Jan 2, 2006 Bottle Poured a hazy unfiltered golden peach color with a nice off white head and decent white lacing. Nose was much more hoppy than I anticipated for the style. Soft light grains as well. Flavor was a bit tart and dry due to the "boat loads" of hops in the brew. Not at all what I expected. Is there such a thing as an Imperial Wheat Ale?
Still, tasty and up to snuff for a reputable brewer lke 3F

Jul 17, 2007 Bomber. Pours a slightly dark straw color with a billowy white head. Mild sweet lemony aroma with a helping of hop aroma behind it. Medium-bodied, not too light. Zesty citrus start with hops and sweetness in the middle and a dry finish. Refreshing, and the hop character really adds complexity to brew without making it unrecognizable as a wheat beer.

Nov 27, 2008 (10/12/08) Draught during Riot Fest in Chicago. Clear deep golden with a medium white head. Aroma of citrus hops and some fruits. Sweetish flavor with some wheaty fruitiness, lots of hops, grapefruit, notes of pomelo and a bit of malt. Medium-bodied. Good stuff.

Jun 6, 2004 Interesting brew. Pours a cloudy orangey amber with an off white head. Aroma is very hoppy and grassy. Taste is mildly sweet and spicy with a lot of hops, lemon/citrus and some wheat. Light herbal and grassy brew with good malt backing. Imagine an IPA with a slight wheat beer feel. Mouthfeel is full, round and light without being watery. Aftertaste is very mildly bitter. Good stuff.

Jun 21, 2009 Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a nice looking hazy gold with white fizzy head. Aroma is pretty hoppy with strong notes of grapefruit. Flavor is of obvious hops, some citrus, and some wheat malt. Mouth feel is light-medium body with high carbonation. Overall, not bad at all, very hoppy, in aroma and flavor......a nice hoppy wheat beer....very interesting...

Jan 4, 2005 Golden yellow color. Hazy after the pour but quickly clearing. No head. Attractive citrus aroma, smooth refreshing palate. Mild citrus flavor. This didn’t have that off-putting wheat character that I can’t stand. This was delicious and very easy drinking. Easily my favorite wheat.
