Commercial Description:
An American Wheat Beer brewed with red wheat and boat loads of amarillo hops gives this summer brew a lemony finish. The slight haze in the bottle is from the bottle-conditioning, where yeast is added to the bottle for a secondary fermentation. Gumballhead is a Skingraft Comics hero. Check out Skingraft Comics and Records at <a href=http://www.skingraftrecords.com>SkingraftRecords.com. Cheers!

Very good beer. Nice to try a wheat with some real hop backbone. FFF comes up with another winner.

Bottle. Nose is dank pot with lemony, orange, and tangerine notes. A bright light amber color with a frothy bright white head. Mouthfeel is lite bitterness with a grassy feel to it. Tastes of citrusy hops. Very full for a wheat beer. nice complexity with some astringency, bitterness, and fruity tastes.

25 oz bottle. Yellow-orange with a bubbly white head. Smells like a wheat cleaning product with some fresh pine. Another whiff and its a dead ringer for powdered lemon ice tea mix. Eerie. A wheat beer? Tasty enough but I can’t get past the sweet tea. I wanted to cut this with a Hoeegarden to give it some punch.

Slightly hazy, dark gold. Small white head. Good lace. Big, fresh, hoppy aroma. Medium, slightly grainy feel. Big, hoppy flavour of pine & citrus w/ some very faint wheaty undertones. Wheat Beer? I would have guessed an IPA.

Draught at Birreria Paradiso. Opaque gold-amber with a small head that leaves just a bit of foam. Straight grapefruit juice with all the pulp left in for the most part. Big hops in the nose, with juicy grapefruit, orange, and some sharper pine sap. considering that this keg must be left over from last summer, the hops are still pretty pungent. The wheat base is a bit sweet and tangy, with a creamy texture. Big hops in the finish, like orange-lemon-pine, perfect amount of bitterness, but then again I like bitterness. Not exactly typical of the style, but then again, typically the style sucks. Medium-light bodied with the yeast making it feel more substantial and smooth. My only gripe is that the carbonation level is just a bit too low, probably also contributed to the lackluster head. I wish there was a summer seasonal available in California that was this good!

Thanks to STFun for the bottle, number #1100. Pours a light hazy gold with a thin white head. Citrusy orange hop aroma with hints of wheat. Light crispy wheat malt taste with a nice citrus hop bitterness. Crisp refreshing wheat ale, excellent.
