There is wheat and Three Floyds Hops™ in the aroma, as well as in the taste. Aroma overall is a bit light. Taste is the same but I like it. There is some lemon in the taste also. Pretty good... I like the hops, but I suppose it is too much for a wheat beer. LaChad (1375), San Francisco, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 20, 2004 Bottle. Looks like a normal wheat beer, but it comes out as being overly hoppy in the aroma. An interesting take on the style; sometimes poorly made hefes taste like bubblegum. They apparently did it on purpose and hopped the shit out of it! The aroma IS nice, but the hops and wheat just don’t match up in the flavor very well for me and this is stuck in the realm of the mediocre, especially compared with the other great 3F offerings. pantanap (1375), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 26, 2008 What a different wheat ale. Pours a hazy yellow color with orange highlights and a medium sized off white head. Nose is hoppy and of wheat with some lemon. Taste is pretty hoppy and bitter for a wheat but has a nice lemon citrus finish. Goes down smooth and is very refreshing. TimE (1368), Tokyo, Japan
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 28, 2007 Golden color, huge huge bubbles that quickly disappaite. Lemon bubblegum and pne in the nose. Very unusual and definetely American. Big hoppy mouth, that is sour and hoppy. No wait, big phenolics dominate the mouth. Moderately bitter finish. The phenolic heads in Japan would love this, as did the Japanese girl I drank this with.

Bottle thanks to Bman1113VR who was my secret santa this summer. Pours a just hazy browned apricot color with a medium to large bone white head. Nice hoppy citrus and mango notes, deceptive at first since I didn’t bother to read anything on the bottle to know that this was hopped so heavily, and my first reaction was that they’d gotten a label wrong. Really nice hop presence with some faint wheat behind it. Good mouthfeel, lemony and with some gentle wheat. Really tasty. Finishes on the dry side with a little subtle grapefruit bitterness. I’m impressed. Not at all what I was expecting, but still really nice.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 10, 2003 The aroma here is pure Three Floyds hopped up hop hop. Floral, grapefruit, lemon. The nose integrates well with the first sip and those are the major flavors that come through. In the middle and end the wheat presents itself nicely. An interesting take on the style.
