Commercial Description:
An American Wheat Beer brewed with red wheat and boat loads of amarillo hops gives this summer brew a lemony finish. The slight haze in the bottle is from the bottle-conditioning, where yeast is added to the bottle for a secondary fermentation. Gumballhead is a Skingraft Comics hero. Check out Skingraft Comics and Records at <a href=http://www.skingraftrecords.com>SkingraftRecords.com. Cheers!

Bottle courtesy of Holdenn. Pours a barely hazy gold color with a small white head. Aroma of hops, grapefruit, wheat, and fruits. Loads of bitter, sweet, grapefruit, hops, fruits and believe it or not almost gumball come together to give this low alcohol beer a rather big taste.

9/28/09 notes: poured at GABF session two. What stuck out in my mind is the interesting sour-grapefruit twang this beer possessed. It was definitely there, along with wheat and some cloves. Balanced, rounded body, with a grainy and satisfying juicy hop finish. I’d like to try a bottle of this, since the complexity of the wheat ale surprised me.

Clear golden pour, small white. Good crisp wheat flavor with a good amount of grassy hops, a slight citrus finish with more hops in bitterness, taste, and aroma, a little too bitter for a wheat beer but still good.

Bottle courtesy of tpd975. Pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus hops and wheat. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness. Simple but very good.

Bomber. Pours a hazy amber with a large head. Very good retention. Aroma of lemon, wheat and citrus/hops. This is one of my favorite wheat beers. Tastes of grapefruit, pears, a little balancing sweet malt. Spicy with a clean finish.

10-17-07 bottle. Semi-transparent deep golden color with thick foamy head. Amazing candy-coated hops aroma. Peaches and cream dominate the flavor. Finish is clean and smooth with ideal carbonation. I highly recommend this beer to anyone! Great palate - smooth, yet clean and crisp - lively yet not over the top. All around, a fantastic beer!

One of the best smelling summer wheats around due to the amount of hops. Unique. A great wheat, one of my favorite. The beer is very pale. I seem to remember this beer having more of a knockout flavor, but it is still solid.
