The point is, I liked it much better the second time around. Poured hazy yellow with a tint of green. Great musty lemon and lite pine hop aroma. The taste was difficult for me to describe but I’d say there was some lemon flavor along with mild sweetness (cookie dough or candy of some type) but very unlike any wheat beer I’ve had. I enjoyed it very much. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 11, 2005 The aroma of this is very close to Pride & Joy, I’d almost think I was smelling the same beer. A little more grassy and lemony than P&J, but boatloads of very similar hoppy goodness. On the first drink, this beer really zings the tastebuds. Real citrusy hops (lemon/grapefruit) upfront are a bit souring, with a slick mouthfeel. Not overpowering though, as the body smooths out and finishes clean. Ahhh, a great summertime beer. Aroma of tropical/passion fruit (Papaya)! Flavor is spicy and hoppy, somewhat thin. Still getting fruit juice aromas and tastes. For the style, the most flavorful beer I’ve had. Refreshing and a great beer! Thanks to Psych Prof for this one! gunhaver (1025), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 30, 2009 Bottle, courtesy markwise. Clear filtered golden color, frothy white head, thin braids of lacing. Hops in the nose, spicy vegetal note, some dry grain and wheat. Flavor is wheaty, crisp fruit, and some hops in the finish. Meh. Thin-bodied, drinkable but boring. Havered it. alobar (1019), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a hazy orange color with minimal white head that disappears quickly. Aroma of orange, wheat, lemon, and some hops. Taste is citrus, wheat and hops with a lemony back side. Medium body. Not your average wheat beer. jah noth (1017), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Sep 16, 2005 Alrighty. I poured slowly to avoid the dregs and got a flat, golden pour with light head. Some seltzer in the aroma with a dose of perfume and tangerines. Nutty flavor balancesnicely with the citric nature of the amarillos, though not as juiced as other IPAs. Slight bitterness in the aftertaste. Delivers as a light and refrishing summertime quaffer. Thanks TAR. ben4321 (1008), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Part of the totally and completely made up"The Geororodanda Beer Sampling Party"
Aroma: Citrusy sweet nose, some light fruit
Appearance: Nice gold/yellow color, hazy, nice lacing
Flavor: Really nice citrus fruit flavor, really hoppy for a wheat
Palate: Nice medium body
Overall Impression:
A pretty nice wheat, one of the better ones that I can remember, maybe the best. Why don’t more breweries hop up their wheats like this? It really worked!
