Commercial Description:
An American Wheat Beer brewed with red wheat and boat loads of amarillo hops gives this summer brew a lemony finish. The slight haze in the bottle is from the bottle-conditioning, where yeast is added to the bottle for a secondary fermentation. Gumballhead is a Skingraft Comics hero. Check out Skingraft Comics and Records at <a href=http://www.skingraftrecords.com>SkingraftRecords.com. Cheers!

On tap at brewery. Medium yellow with an average sized rocky head, good lacing. Light to medium-bodied. Shocking aroma, very hoppy with hints of passion fruit, mint, orange, light molasses, and dough. Fruity and tart tasting, but still clean and refreshing. Lively and dry mouthfeel. A hop lovers wheat, nice summertime brew.

Cool! I got a glass of this just before I got into the Three Floyds building to get my six bottles of Dark Lord. From a 22-oz bottle pours a hazy dirty golden brew with a thick white head that has some good retention and some spotty lacing. Aroma of light bread malt, citrus and flowery hops, a touch of lemon and some green vegetables. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with flavors of light white bread malt, some citrus zest and a touch of pine. Finish is semi-sweet with a mild bitterness that sticks around after the finish.

Draft. Pour was a hazy yellow/amber with a small rather well-retained head. Aroma was wheaty with a significant amount of 3F’s signature hoppiness. Citrus hops hit the tastebuds first... followed by some honey, more citrus hops, and light spices. Clean mouthfeel and finish. Very refreshing, and a nice twist (supa-hopped) on a style that I am not particularly fond of.

Poured a golden color with a small head. Aroma was big and fruity of oranges and grapes. Flavor is lightly sweet and fruity with with some sour lemon finish.

A top 10% beer for me. An easy drink with lower than average alcohol. Just a great taste and wonderful grapefuit aroma. The wheat, some nice complementary spice and beautifully hopped.

Bottle (650ml). Shared with blankboy and tupalev, my bottle. Poured hazy orange with a small diminishing creamy off-white head. Aroma of tangerines, sweet resiny and perfumy hops, sweet toasty malt, rosehipskool-aid and yeast - very sweet, very robust - a wheat beer on HGH? Taste - good Lord that’s nice - perfectly balanced between smooth sweet malt, mild hops and fresh grain - SESSION. Solid almost chewy body, lightly astringent and carbonated, longish juicy slightly bitter finish. Truly stunning beer, I’m a big fan of this one.

Vegetable organic aroma (some carrot I found, oh yes!). Unique wheat. Very green and organic .Some spice, little malt and hops. Gets hopier with finish. Hard to rate because if its style. I liked it.

Light orange gold color. Medium sized white head. Aroma is fruity, sweet and orange. A medium bodied wheat beer. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hints of orange and citrus, with slightly bitter hops. Nicely balanced. Crisp clean flavors. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
