Jun 24, 2005 Discount Liquours, Milwaukee, WI. - 22 oz bomber. Pours a light golden with a spongy, frothy white head that leaves excellent lacing. Fresh, floral aroma with hints of mown grass. Slight citrusy flavor with some minty back end notes. Creamy thick mouthfeel, goes down very smooth. More in common with an APA than an American Wheat. Very good.

Sep 29, 2006 22 oz bottle. Hazy golden orange color with bubbly white head that laced the glass. Attractive citrusy hop nose and flavor with a nice dash of bitterness on the tongue. Kind of like a wheaty IPA. Delicious.

Aug 7, 2006 22oz bottle drank at home and purchased at Chevy Chase Wine and Liquors in Washington DC on 8/7/06. The beer pours a light cloudy color with a big foamy head. The beer smells and tastes extreamely hoppy, while still looking like a normal wheat beer. Another impressive brew from 3 Floyds. Tasty and quite drinkable.

May 29, 2007 Chicago Trip. Saturday 15:00. On tap at the brewery. Hazy dark yellow. Light head. A few tiny particles. Strong full hop aroma. Delicious hoppy wheat, especially for lower ABV. Not a lot of ethers or yeast. Just hops. Seems hoppier than 18 IBU. Delicious hop taste and you can make it a sessional. As an added note I had some back home after an IIPA and the flavour and hops were much more delicate.

Aug 1, 2006 Updated: Aug 3, 2007In the bomber bottle from HyVee Council Bluffs. Yummy! Standard pale ale-looking gold color with a big thick fluffy white head. This was a totally clear beer- no floating yeast, not even in the bottom (?). Medium carbonation. Very nice sweet and hoppy aroma. Flavor has a strong sweetness, but with a pronounced medicinal quality. Aroma is also quite lemony. The up front sweetness is followed by a nice hop piney blast and then finishes with lots of citrus lemon-like flavors. So very good. UPDATE 8/3/7: This year, it does not taste as good to me. perhaps I scored a bad bottle. Thin and lemony, but no complexities. So sad!

Aug 29, 2004 Hazy golden with a big white head. Has a very surprising hop aroma, american hop aroma. Lemon, guava and grapefruit with some wheaty accents. Flavour of wheat and lemon with a hoppy citric finish.

Aug 5, 2008 bottle, hell yes!! a beauty of a golden color with a very small white head. aroma is hop heaven and maybe some fruit, banana or apple? flavor is wovenly so beautifully between citrus hops and malt. flavor is just so damn juicy. i could drink this all day every day if i had to. wow.

Dec 20, 2004 Bottle. Strong flowery hops aroma with hint of lemon. Deep yellow color with small collapsing head. Initial flavor of hops followed by a strong lemon/citrus flavor that smacks you in the face. A very unique wheat beer - very different from most.
