Perfect score from me. This has become my favorite American beer, and what’s funny is I usually dislike American wheats with a passion. These guys do it right though. Wonderful, crisp, dry, wheat beer.. super clean, then this MASSIVE amarillo hops aroma and flavor dominates. It’s like a wheat IPA almost. It’s amazing and I highly recommend it to ANY beer drinker.

This was a great beer for me. I had it on tap at FFF, and I was surprised when the bartender suggested it once I told him I am into doppelbocks. I have to admit it was a great choice. Light in color and great tasting. It had a light fruit flavor to it. Great beer.

On tap at the brew pub. Gumballhead is the world’s coolest cat. He’s killed people. Why oh why does it not pour as wonderfully as it smells, tastes, and treats. This is a regular dark red brown, with a regular head. Smells like marijuana, potpourri flowers, candy, hops, sugar, citrus fruits, and love. Everything good and sweet all come together is perfect, intense sinergy. Tastes so great! Perfectly intense, very heavy start of citrus hops, moving into the more herbal flavors, fruity tea and flowers, ending on sweet candy fruit and gumball candy. One of the very best beers in the world.

Holy moses, this is what fresh beer is all about. Bought a cup at Dark Lord Day 2007. Color was a yellow-orange with a small head. Aroma was powerfully fruity and sweet. The taste is thirst-quenching at first, making the beer very quaffable until about midway through when the beer gets an IPA flavor to it, but still with a slight sweetness. This is just a straight-up great beer, and I can’t wait to buy it in six packs in my local grocery.

I had this on tap at the brewery. It’s hard to compare this to other wheat’s as its really in a category all its own. The smell is dominated by grapefruit, the mouthfeel is light. The taste again is extremely smooth with a wonderful grapefruitaftertaste. Probably the best beer I have ever tasted.

Yum. This is officially my brew for the summer of 2004 and most likely many more to come! Definitly not as ’wheat beery’ as i expected, like its been noted, more like a pale ale, but good none the less. Am heading back to my local to load up a case.

Stilll and clear with a orange-yellow hue and a standing white pillowtop. Hoppiness in the aroma made me double-check the label that said "wheat beer", but alas there they are! What an interesting mix here ... fruity hopiness, yet with mellow underpinnings and no bitterness. This is superb.

Pours a inviting golden yellow amber color. The first smell is of hops, sweetness and citrus. The taste is hard to compare to any other beer. There’s hops, followed by a sweet citrus flavor to finish off smooth and refreshing. I very drinkable yummy brew. It’s hard to stop taking sips.
