A little more grassy and lemony than P&J, but boatloads of very similar hoppy goodness. On the first drink, this beer really zings the tastebuds. Real citrusy hops (lemon/grapefruit) upfront are a bit souring, with a slick mouthfeel. Not overpowering though, as the body smooths out and finishes clean. Ahhh, a great summertime beer. I love aggresively hopped beers and wheat beers- so what do they do, they combine the two. This is probably the best summer beer I’ve ever tasted. Now I have a reason to go to Indiana! fbennett (293), Lowell, Massachusetts, USA

The smell is of wheat, lemon, honey, some grass essence. The taste is very smooth, kind of sweet from the honey and a little tart from the lemons. It really goes well together. This is a great wheat ale one that I could drink all year around.

Pours a crystal clear orangey copper with a frothy snow white head. Quite lacy. Smells of citrusy hops and lightly of sweet wheat malt.
Taste is basic but does it well. Delivers crisp what malt followed by huge amount of hops (amarillo according to the bottle) and some lemony flavor throughout. Three great tastes that taste great together. Crisp and bright mouthfeel. Tasty. I can see why this has such a following, especially for a summer beer.
With the name, I thought this beer had captured the bubblegum flavor of a true hefe and that’s what they were pushing. Boy, was I wrong but still a great beer. It’s almost as if they thought to themselves, "Hey, it’s hard for us American brewers to make a true German style wheat so let’s not try. Let’s do something original." And it is a true original. antzman (313), Clarksville, Indiana, USA

This poured with a thin white head that clung to the glass, with a pale yellow hue and some cloudiness. The Amarillo Hops jump out at you. The aroma is pure wheat. The first sip is all wheat, but then some subtle grapefruit is tasted. Not suggested for everyone, but it is for me! jhliesen (406), West Melbourne, Florida, USA

Poured a lovely cloudy gold with a froathy head that reduced to small. I have to go with the other reviewers that say this is more a Pale Ale than a wheat beer, whatever style it is, it’s great! foundmd (163), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Awesome balance of citrus and hops. A little thin on the palate, but wonderfully refreshing. Best suited for summer days, but I’d drink this any (and every) day.
