Flavor was a bit frutiy, my wife said it tasted like berry, but I’d echo the apple comments. Very refreshing on a hot summer day. Now if I could only find it in bottles.... Attractive citrusy hop nose and flavor with a nice dash of bitterness on the tongue. Kind of like a wheaty IPA. Delicious. illkarate (93), Bloomington, Indiana, USA

Nothing else like it! sneagrams3 (1764), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Clear and golden with an amber tint. Ring of white head. Citrus hop nose. Caramel malt aromas. Medium and smooth.with a zesty dry finish. Wheaty and grassy. Lively with a sweet citrus note. Leaves a mildly tart, sour flavor in the finish. Slight apple note. Second glass. Nice sized sediment, but still rather clear. More cirtus and floralness in the nose. Honeyish. Delicious. As it warms it opens up and stretches out, broadening the flavor profiles. Dry and more intense yeast note. Hops are bigger and more layered. Hop notes include citrus and a floral spiciness. Notes of fruit and cherries? beernbourbon (318), chicago, Illinois, USA

Nice citrus hop aroma and really does kind of taste like original flavored bubble yum. Light yet flavorfull. It’s a really good lighter beer. radagast83 (1317), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 14, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. Extremely nice hop character for a wheat beer. Good citrus flavors, pine, grapefruit. I am still amazed about how the beer is so much more hoppy than any wheat beer I’m used to. Fantastic!

Nonetheless, an inviting aroma of lemon and hay removes any concern. Medium body that is velvety smooth. Big hop flavors of lemon and orange over a sweet caramel malt backbone. For a beer with so much hop aroma and flavor, the lack fo bitterness came as a surprise. A lingering lightly sweet finish that is quite pleasing. Very drinkable, nicely balanced.
