Commercial Description:
An American Wheat Beer brewed with red wheat and boat loads of amarillo hops gives this summer brew a lemony finish. The slight haze in the bottle is from the bottle-conditioning, where yeast is added to the bottle for a secondary fermentation. Gumballhead is a Skingraft Comics hero. Check out Skingraft Comics and Records at <a href=http://www.skingraftrecords.com>SkingraftRecords.com. Cheers!

Hazy golden color. Very nice aroma, sweet fruity and resiny hops, very fresh. Quite weak body, some malty sweetness, and most of all an excellent extreme hopping. Really refreshing and enjoyable!

Dark straw colored brew. Great nose with a little hoppiness and a little lemon citrus. Light/medium body with a slight herbal hoppiness at the front. Finishes tart and clean. Really enjoyable and different wheat.Forgot to thank jcalabre and hopsrus for this one!

Thanks to TannerTavernBoys for sharing this great beer. Very floral perfume hops on the aroma. Looks slightly hazy golden with a white head that lingers around. Flavor starts briefly with a nice wheat taste.... and that is the only thing that resembles a wheat beer in Gumballhead for me. The wheat is quickly swept to the side by floral hops with a hint of citrus. There is a nice soft carbonation that enhances the flavors. While there are lots of hops here it is soft on the palate and very easy drinking. I’m looking foward to having this one again.

Thanks to tannertavernboys for sharing. Pours a lite orange with a big bubbly head. Piney peachy aromas that just wreak of amarillo hops. This is the beer to experience if you want to know what this hop’s characteristics are. Really fluffy velvety body. Really does have a bubblegum like flavor (Yeast?) with some soft mango and papaya flavors too. Not really much bitternesss at the end considering how much flavor and aroma hops were present. Definitely the best american wheat barenone.

Slightly hazy yellow/gold body with a big fluffy white head and decent lacing. Starts with citrus and hop aromas, I tried and tried but didn’t smell any bubblegum - still this has a great aroma. Body is thin and full of a wheaty tang followed by a juicy citrus hop - oh yeah, it’s amarillo - I luv amarillo hops!

Nice big foamy white head on top hazy yellow body. Big grapefruit hop aroma - really nice. Huge hop flavor, as one would expect from 3F. Very faint wheat flavor, too - mostly in the background. Dusty, dry finish. Interesting take on wheat beer. Thanks to Springslicker for this one!
