I even saw one guy running to get to the line. And now I know why. A great brew. Reddish color with a white head. Hoppy aroma If there was wheat in the beer, I couldn't really taste it. I could taste the hops though. Very tasty. WabashMan (809), Noblesville, Indiana, USA

Well, it's a lot hoppier than any other wheat I've ever tried. An absolutely great variation on the American wheat...Three Floyds does it again!
P.S. ---The draft is FAR better in my opinion than the bottle (above rated is draft). Seek it out on tap! guzzler67 (1281), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 9, 2004 Straw and lemon grass initially in the aroma, soon to compete with a citrusy, hoppy nose. Had only a slight wheat haze in the golden yellow appearance (I guess "red wheat" has no effect on the color). Moderately bitter, medium-bodied flavor, with a pronounced hop presence. Forget any comparison to a German weisen. Dry, spicy finish. jonwell (104), Huntington Beach, California, USA

Aroma is sharp and tangy- citrus hops, lemon and grapefruit. The flavor is pretty sharp and bitter upfront, fades to hops and finishes pretty flat, like a standard wheat beer. Quite pleasent. Not outstanding in any way, aside from originality maybe, but I really enjoy drinking it. MaiBockAddict (1499), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA

Awesome fresh hop aroma. Cean crisp and light flavor, with gentle bitterness and hop flavor. Very refreshing. Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England

Pours a beautiful clear amber/orange with a thick diminishing white head. Nice floral aroma with grapefruit and a hint of pine. Medium palate. Amazing flavor of grapefruit, pine, malt and wheat, although the wheat is somewhat hidden. This is an interesting american wheat to say the least. Very tasty and very drinkable with a nice hop bite. Big thanks to slikwily (and bunkypop) for this one. Hangover (768), Atlanta, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 10, 2006 22 bomber. Slightly dark copper pour, clear with no sediment and a thin eggshell white head. Some bubblegum in the aroma (I got it right away), mingled with citrusy hops. Mildly efferescent mouthfeel. Very smooth and you can feel the wheat tingling with the hops in the middle. Honestly, not a lot of wheat in this one, but I can see why it’s rated so high. Has all the good easy drinking characteristics of a hefe, and has such a light and crisp hopping throughout that it almost hits upon APA territory. Better than Oberon. Not crazy good. Hell, this stuff is impressive.
