Sep 20, 2007 Bottle:Trade prize. The heavy aroma of hops made me think this was more of an IPA than a wheat beer. The nuances were very expressive as I took the first taste into the realms of the ale. The medium light body reminded me with banana that this was a summer style beer, but one that I could easily drink all night.

Nov 12, 2007 Bottle. Poured a hazy yellow with a huge white, fluffy head. Immediately on opening the bottle you get the citrus aroma of the hops. On pouring in the glass the hop smell is even more evident and enticing. Flavor is of smooth wheat flavor with a tremendous hop presence which gives it a bit of citrus flavor. I love German wheat beers but, this is the best Ameircan version I have had so far. Many thanks to my brother biggmike for this one.

As a hophead I have to say. . . OH HELL YEAH!!! What a great brew. Everything I look for in a beer. Quite nice feel. A slightly thicker then normal body for the style. Despite the carbonation seen rising, there was only an average kick on the tongue.Very drinkable, i would rate this as one of my favorite wheat beers.

Mar 19, 2007 Taste is outstanding. Great mix of fruit, wheat, and hops. More refreshing than most wheats. Hops give a very nice finish. Not as cloying as some wheats. Exceptional drinkability -- the 22oz bomber left me wanting another, and if I had one on hand, I would have had another.

Sep 2, 2008 A very nice wheat brew. A hazy light gold yellow with a nice white head. Aroma is nicely balanced of wheat, hops, lemon and citrus. Flavor is hops and then the lemon and citrus flavors come in. Probably the best wheat beer out there. Palate has a nice sour bitter (very light). Perfect for a wheat ale.

The hop profile on this is awesome. Citrusy, some pine and grapefruit. But its mostly the nose. The beer is a interesting twist on the wheat beer style. There is more hops there than a usual wheat beer. The taste of this beer is great when its fresh.

Aroma: HOPS! Citrusy, lemon, sweet.
Appearance: Light, golden, bubbly. White, small carbonated head that dissipates quickly.
Flavor: Intense mouthful of hops. Tons of hop aftertaste. Lemon and fruity in the middle. Wheat.
Palate: Decently high carbonation. Smooth. Really rolls of the tongue. Light.
Overall: Well...Three Floyd’s keeps impressing me. This is the best "wheat" beer I’ve ever had. Props to the boys in Munster on this one. Actually, I had this on tap during Darklord Day in 2008 and it was even better.

Aug 8, 2008 A great light beer with a citrus hop taste. A lighter taste that’s not overpowering but still has the typical hop FFF taste. Very refreshing, very light. A bright yellow appearance, mildly hazy.
