Commercial Description:
An American Wheat Beer brewed with red wheat and boat loads of amarillo hops gives this summer brew a lemony finish. The slight haze in the bottle is from the bottle-conditioning, where yeast is added to the bottle for a secondary fermentation. Gumballhead is a Skingraft Comics hero. Check out Skingraft Comics and Records at <a href=http://www.skingraftrecords.com>SkingraftRecords.com. Cheers!

Vegetable organic aroma (some carrot I found, oh yes!). Unique wheat. Very green and organic .Some spice, little malt and hops. Gets hopier with finish. Hard to rate because if its style. I liked it.

nice golden champagne color to it with a nice lacey white head, very transparent. Big hops and wet grass aroma, almost like a vegetable beer. really flat and light, has some hops that come up in the end, for a wheat, this is fuckin awesome. it can beat the ass of alot of ipa’s.

Looked like atypical wheat beer...hazy straw color with small white head. Nice armoma, sorta lemony. Hop flavor seems to stand out at the beginning and then finishes like drinking lemon peels. While I am not a fan of wheat beers this is one of the better wheat beers I have ever had.

Bottle. Hoppy citrusy orange aroma. I believe I smell Centennials. Similar aroma to Southern Tier Hop Sun. Wheat characteristics are not apparent in the nose. Perhaps this is due to age? Smells tasty, nonetheless. Mildly hazy honey color with a small whitish head. Juicy orange hoppy start, turning quickly dry and grainy. The wheat really comes through. Finishes with more grapefruity bitter hopping. This is about what I expected and believe it or not, it is quite comparable to Southern Tier’s Hop Sun. I like this offering a bit more.

Nose of citrus and lemon zest. Great hop bitterness throughout with a great flavor from the Amarillo hops. A very enjoyable summer brew.

Pours cloudy gold with a white soapy head. Aroma is predominantly hops with notes of leaves, pine, and lemony sweet candy (Amarillo). Softly bitter yet nicely citric as well. Small to medium bodied. If more wheat ales tasted like this I would probably buy a lot more wheat ales!

ReRate-22 oz bomber-pours light orange with minimal white head. Lots of hop aroma that smells like the best homebrewed pale ale. lots of surupy sweet amarillo hops. This is an awesome wheat beer! This brew has the most robust palate for a wheat beer. 4.8%? I think this version is a little higher. India Wheat beer? I think so. This one is even hoppier than i remember last years version. My only gripe is that its filtered..... Hmm, this is a pretty hoppy wheat beer, probably to hoppy for most. The aroma is full of amarillo hops. palate is full with hints of clove and orange, somewhat like that of oberon. There is not much malt, but since when do wheat beers have malt?

draught at brewtopia - I detect no characteristics of a wheat beer in this - kind of tastes like a pale ale - in fact, this tastes suspiciously like Alpha King - I’m beginning to think that the common criticism that all FFF beers taste the same holds a little bit of truth - HAD AGAIN FROM A BOMBER AND WAS MUCH MORE IMPRESSED - DIDN"T TAKE ANY NOTES THIS TIME, BUT I REMEMBER IT BEING QUITE CRISP AND REFRESHING.
