Aroma is piney with lots of fresh hops present along with lemon citrus and wheat. Flavor is lemony with loads of hops and light wheat. Excellent !!! Another gem from the 3 Floyds brothers. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 18, 2007 This beer has little head, and has a light orange-gold color. Hoppy scent with a solid mouth feel and a floral and orange flavor. While this is a wheat, it very much borders in the area of an IPA. SkyinBrian (429), Collinsville, Illinois, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 20, 2004 Dark straw color with a white head. Aroma is citrusy, apricots, grapefruit, and very tropical. Flavor is sharply bitter and acidic (good) until mid palate when bready, sweet malt and deeply American hops with an orange peel oiliness take over for the finish. This is the Sauvignon Blanc of the beer world. Almost too good. Jabswitch (213), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA

I am from Green Bay and picked up a bottle of Gumball at Sendiks in Milwaukee. This is one of the beers that I have been hoping to find someday, and I found one by chance. Classified as an America Wheat? Poured a small glass. Aroma was lime and pine to me. Like Two-Hearted Ale from Bells. Poured Clear gold. Head (which means nothing to me) would be average as to length and thickness. The hops were superb. Not too bitter - but with that trademark hoppy aftertaste. This is a very good product. Quality speaks volumes. wnhay (722), Princeton, New Jersey, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 26, 2005 Really cool summer brew. Great presentation with a dark golden color with a thick white head. The lacing was superb here, hence the perfect appearance score. Aroma was very hoppy with citrus, graitfruit and lemon. Kind of like a light IPA and with similarities to the Alpha King. Taste was very refreshing especially the mouthfeel. It had a real refreshing bitterness to it which was not overdone. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

Tastes of oranges, and has a bit of an IPA feel to it. Great mouthfeel. Perfect summer beer. barleyPops (1081), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 13, 2005 on tap. knocked down a couple of pints over dinner. a delicious thirst quenching wheat beer! pour was a hazy golden yellow with a thin head that faded to lace around the edge of the glass. aroma was of floral & citrus hops. even though the aroma hit you in the chops, the malt flavor balanced out this beer to perfection. even my son, who likes wheat beer but not hops thought this was a great beer. unlike so many wheat beers that are thin and watery, this offered a medium to almost full palate. wonderful brew, I could drink this one all day!
