Found this one bottled at Top Shelf in South Elgin, Illinois. Hazy medium yellow pour and a thick white head. Very unusual wheat ale. An awesome hoppy and citrusy nose tops a very flavorful and complicated taste. Citrusy hops quickly moves into a citrusy maltiness, banana and orange. Very, very good beer.

Sep 2, 2008 A very nice wheat brew. A hazy light gold yellow with a nice white head. Aroma is nicely balanced of wheat, hops, lemon and citrus. Flavor is hops and then the lemon and citrus flavors come in. Probably the best wheat beer out there. Palate has a nice sour bitter (very light). Perfect for a wheat ale.

Aug 31, 2008 Very nice lemony hop aroma. Reminds me of a quality pale ale. Taste is very crisp citrus with a slight hint of wheatiness. Definitely not your typical wheat. Somewhat light, but extremely quaffable. A sixer of Gumballhead will not last very long. God bless Three Floyds!

Aug 30, 2008 A Three Floyds standard. Pours very thin, with a light frothy head. This stuff has a very light hoppy flavor, with a lemony spice after taste. A very drinkable wheat beer.

Aug 28, 2008 On draft at the brewpub. Straw colored and a little cloudy with a white head. Lemony aromas. Spicey flavors with a dank hop flavor mixed in.
