Sampled at Darkness Day. Pours a golden yellow with minimal head. Aroma is yeasty, floral and earthy hops and some lightly roasted malts. Flavor is bitter. Palate is rough but decent. Solid pilsener.

Thanks to Anthony for this. Pours a straw yellow. Taste is crisp with some apple and assorted fruit. Some grass. Light hoppy aroma. I only wanted to try the Three Floyds take on pilsener; I’m not a pilsener fan. But this is very drinkable.

22oz bottle. Pours a yellow-golden colored body thats mostly clear, but has just a slight haze. Finger-width, fizzy, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a light lacing. Aroma is a lightly sweetened grainy, pils malt with a light herbal hop backing. Flavor is a richer grainy malt with a medium sweetness. A touch of bread and honey as well as a light fruit come in during the middle before this finishes with a light to moderate level of herbal, grassy bitterness and a pinch of spice. Dry and crisp with a nice lingering aftertaste. Medium body, smooth, and a soft carbonation. Overall, this is a tasty pils. Its straightforward, but provides an enjoyable crisp, hop bitterness and pleasant malt body. An unusual release from FFF, but it proves to me that they’re not just all about the juicy hop bombs.

Got to try a bottle of this thanks to "hannont". Colour... like a Belgian gold but with no head at all. Nose... honey, beeswax, noble hops. Palate... light CO2, seems quite Czech pils-like. Lightly sweet, floral, honeysuckle. Better in the summer than on a cold fall night, I suspect!

Bottle [750ml] shared with the gang at ’WaterlooWeekend Oct.’09’ -- c/o J&K. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a small diminishing frothy white head. Aroma is sweet along with grassy hops, some grain and bready malt. Flavour of grassy hops, slightly floral, with bready malt and a decent bitter finish. Average bodied. Very good Pilsener and on style.

10/18/2009: Three Floyds Jinxproof... Aroma: Sweaty underwear; generic beer-y smell. Appearance: Cloudy lemon yellow color. Flavor: Toasted malt and some wheat; interesting hop presence (hard to descibe/explain, but it just doesn’t fit); beery (think generic macro American lager). Palate: Medium-bodied; grainy texture. Overall: Not sure what this beer is supposed to be, but it is definitely the worst 3F beer that I have had; the label is cool, but definitely doesn’t justify whatever this beer cost!

22 fl. oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Thanks Tom! Rating #58 for this beer.

[2547-20091024] 1pt6floz bottle. Mild straw yeast aroma. Slightly hazy, light orange brown body with a quick foamy white head. Straw yeast flavour finishes with a plastic note. Medium body. Not wonderful, disappointing.

650 ml bottle
This was picked up about three weeks ago on a trip to Indiana/Illinois/Wisconsin. Unlike many Three Floyds beers this was a bit plain jane and toned down. If it had not been an inexpensive bomber I would have been disappointed. As it is this is a fairly average pilsener.

Aroma / Appearance - Carbonated with a golden body the pillowy white head grows. Crisp and wheaty the nose is a trace soapy. Overall this is pretty bland for a 3F bottle.

Flavor / Palate - Malty with a grainy texture this fills the mouth with a decent feel. Drinkable but not exceptional this is a good beer but subpar for the guys from Munster. It won’t put me off seeking more of their beers because it was cheap but if you are expecting a great beer pass on this.
