fordest (1907), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Jun 28, 2008 22 oz bottle brought to toncatchers tasting by Sune (sunevdj) and Ulric. Brought directly from darklord day. Pretty sweet. Nice malty aromas with some dust and lots of caramel and some yeastiness. Some hoppiness came through on the flavor, but not as much as I had expected. Mostly malty and sweet. Pretty darn good. Thanks guys
zathrus13 (1142), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA Jan 9, 2009 Bottle. pours copper/amber, with a white head. Aroma is caramel, fruit, and hops. Flavor is fruit, caramel, hops, alcohol, and honey. yngwie (3894), Kristiansand, Norway Jan 2, 2009 Bottle, 22oz. A clear, copper beer with a medium sized beige head. Lovely hops in the aroma, giving fluorine, pinecones and resin as well as a fruity touch. Not very malty. Hop-driven flavor with pinecones, a fine bitterness, malty sweetness and beefstock. Full-bodied and warming, but the alcohol isn’t much evident flavorwise or in the aroma. Lasting maltysweet, almost sugary finish with a lovely bitterness. Just f...ing lovely. Amazing.
