Another shared by Steve with us at his house. Doboy, DrBayern and I were still present. By now volumes of beer, cheese, flavoured almonds and chips have been consumed while talking of fine beers, politics, listening to good music and the effect that beer has made on civilization. That said, The beer poured from the bomber dark brown with an amber tinge. It formed little to no foam, aroma was of raisins, plums, hops. The flavour was simply incredible, slightly burnt fruits with a lovely hop character that gives this beer a smoothness that is truly a wonderful experience. Whoa!

White head on a dark redbrown body. Reagardless of the name, this beer tastes like an IPA, only much stronger. I just loved it. Mikeller has done it again. Whe I was given the bottle (for my birthday), I was told only 125 bottles were sold in Denmark and that this brew was intended for the USA.

22 oz bottle. Pours a clear dark copper body with a small fizzy white head, rather viscous looking. Heavy malt and wheat nose with just as much resiny hoppiness as there is malt. Typical alcoholic Wheat Wine nose with a little bit of fusel character. Toffee and figs abound. Not a fan of this guy from the first sip. Super hot and yet very under attenuated at the same time. Boatloads of toffee and caramel with a slightly earthy wheat character up front that is actually not that bad. The finish is what’s really tragic. Burning alcohol, iced tea, and tons of resiny hops. It’s just all over the place and messy. Thick syrupy body with moderate fizzy carbonation. Extremely warming on the finish. Overall, this was just not a beer that I could sit down with and enjoy. It became a bit of a chore to finish a bottle by myself.

[660 ml bottle from Systembolaget] Sweet aroma with rasins but there is a little bit too much alcohol. The colour is light amber and there is a nice foam. The flavour is nice sweet and bitter, with flavour of rasin and hops ,but no wheat. Sadly, it’s a bit over prized. 229 Swedish krona (aprox. 22€) is too much.

22oz bottle, via trade with drewbeerme, thank you Andrew! Nice malty/hoppy aroma. Very nice color, dark copper with a nice white head. Hoppy bitterness, slight maltiness. Very good brew, so glad to have tried this.

600ml bottle &#40;Pikkulintu, Helsinki&#41; - shared by mjs - thanks&#033;<br /> Deep orange, no head. Sweet sherbetty aroma. Pleasant carbonation, but, at the same time, sweet and sticky. Slightly gingery taste. Tangy and hoppy. A touch of soap, but that doesn’t build up beyond its initial low prominence. Still sherbetty even after half an hour. As it warms and flattens, the aroma becomes more complex and interesting - very tangy and spicy. What a great sipping beer, enjoyed every drop.
