UnsofistaCat (212), Garden City, Michigan, USA Jul 22, 2007 Updated: Nov 9, 2007 I was hoping this was a real Mild, I’ve always wanted to try one. Instead its just a American pale ale or amber. No head what so ever. Ice tea in color. Deliciously fresh tasting. Doesn’t have much of a nose to it and not very carbonated. Apples and pine on the tongue. Very light on the tongue and goes down easy as Sunday morning. It doesn’t get more fresh tasting then this. Rerate: This is damn good. Up goes the score
bellmyer (14), EAST MOLINE, Illinois, USA Oct 4, 2008 Bottle from the brewery. Pours a hazy orange color. Head quickly turns into a ring. Aroma is hops and citrus. Taste is a mild hop flavor, not too bitter. Not bitter enough, but still good. Easy to drink. Lacing is slight. Mouthfeel is pretty clean. A solid mild brew, just what it says. DrHomolka (603), Columbus, Ohio, USA Oct 2, 2008 12oz bottle. Surprised I’ve never had this before. Pours a hazy golden/orange with not much carbonation. I had to pour quite strongly to form a head. A small white head forms but mostly is just a rim around the top with some foam islands. Don’t get much hops in the nose which makes me think this isn’t too fresh. For the love of God FFF please start bottle dating. A mild malty aroma with some minor floral elements and a bit of zestiness. Some biscuit notes too. This doesn’t seem that old really, I’m being hard on it, I just expected more of a hop punch being this is from this brewery. Taste is smooth, very drinkable, semi-dry though balanced. Low bitterness, very easy to drink. If this weren’t 10.99 a six pack I could see buying this. I would like to try a super fresh sample of this. Decent to good. esjaygee (830), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Sep 28, 2008 Murky amber with an airy quickly dissipating white head. Aroma of caramel, grassy hops, citrus, definitely smells similar to other FFF I’ve had. Taste of caramel, Amarillo hops, pine and citrus. The body is somewhat grainy and it has a semi bitter peppery finish that last for a while. Taverner (482), San Ramon, California, USA Sep 28, 2008 Decent mild, or amber, or whatever it is. Full of hops, which is good. Nice malt backbone, which is good. Old bottle, because the glass in the lip chipped away. This is bad. But overall a nice bitter amber. marcus (1055), Sacramento, California, USA Sep 21, 2008 On tap at the brewery. This reddish gold ale poured with a thin off-white head and a fruity aroma. It’s very well hopped with lots of citrus.
