A great light beer from FFF. A nice FFF hop taste, perfect for the summer. Reminded me of a lighter Dreadnaught with a great citrus taste.

Pour is a deep golden color with a light haziness. the head is white and thin. Aroma is lemon zest, very citrus hop, some light toffee and caramel malts. Flavor is clean caramel malts with very citrus hops, no suprises here but very well ballanced and virtually no flaws. mild but tasty Apa

12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy deep gold color with a moderate amount of carbonation causing a light ivory crown. The aroma is crisp pine and fruity hops. The flavor is packed full of tangerine and grapefruit. The bitterness is there, but is far from over powering. Medium body and mouthfeel. I could drink this stuff a night long! This is not quite up to the same standard as some of Three Floyd’s other beers as it is lacking that little something extra I’ve come to expect. However, it is still another very good and respectable brew and a solid APA in general.

Pours a pale golden orange. Nose is sweet with hints of peaches and candi sugar. Taste is bitter with lots of biscuit, bread, orange zest, and tangerines.

Bottle at the Bloomington Beer Festival. Poured gold with a white head. Aroma was not complex with a piney hop note and not much else. Flavor was more subdued with lighter notes of piney hops.

pours amber with a cloud and piny aroma. A great brew from start to finish. Has an iced tea like flavor almost and a bit dry but good dryness. Nice and hoppy not too hoppy, has a citrus sour but perfect sweet, light malt. Good stuff!

[2487-20090926] Tap. Fresh piny hops aroma with citrus lemon flesh. Slightly hazy, bright orange brown body with a quick creamy white head. Grapefruit lemon flesh hops flavour is bitter with a very mild nuttiness. Medium-full body is quite bitter. Very tasty citrus, enjoyable.

Pours a slightly hazy amber with a 2 finger, chunky bone white head that has good retention and leaves a couple specks of lacing. Aroma is full of sweet citrus, a hint of pine and apple blossom, some white bread crust, toasted grain and a little caramel. Flavor is sweet baguette crust, bright citrus, crisp mineral notes, sweet grass, toasted malt and a hint of oats. FInish is more lively citrus hops, wet hay and a mineral, tangerine fade. Palate is light to medium bodied with a creamy entry, leading to a slightly dry, though still pretty creamy finish There is a sort of spritzy, active carbonation that manages to be very soft, yet very active, very nice. This is a very nice brew, it has a great balance and an incredible palate, all while being packed full of flavor and at only 4.88%abv. These guys really know how to do it.
