Aroma soft and not very expressive but it leaves a good impression of nut, malts, some spices and yeast. The taste is medium dry and very soft on the pallet. You have impressions of malts, nuts, rock-candy, cereals, cookies and some spicey yeast.
amazingly eazy drinking.

This one was interesting to try, especially as someone raised on a farm. Reminds me of when the bees made honey from flowers that didn’t quite work, or when I was so hungry I ate the flax out of the bit. Good, but not you had to be there. dnstone (200), , New Jersey, USA

Clear yellow pour, little carbonation/lacing with an almost overpowering strong pepper and spicy honey aroma. Flavor is farmhouse funk, white pepper, honey and finished a little hot. Not bad, but not worth the $14 price tag. GMCC2181 (863), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA

Pours a hazy orange color with a thin white head. Aroma of malts, spices, yeast and orange peels. Taste is of mild pumpkin pie, jasmine, nutmeg and caramel. Mouthfeel was very mello because the bottle was appx 3 years old. Would like to get my hands on another one in the near future. afireinside96 (836), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 4, 2009 Shared by BA’s Woody Chandler. A 3 year old bottle. Was light amber with a tiny head. The smell was sweet and caramely with some fruit undertones. There was a good amount of caramel in the flavor as well, also present were chamomile and a touch of cinnamon. Easy enough to drink but maybe a bit past its prime. mattmc1973 (305), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 25, 2009 Bomber poured into a tulip. Pours a clear gold with minimal white head. Aroma is cloves, coriander, chamomile, candi sugar, and orange peel. Since it’s Three Floyds, I was expecting a hopped-up extreme version of a saison, but it’s quite laid back. Taste is of orange peel, spices, and sweet malt. Medium mouthfeel, creamy, with crisp carbonation. Pretty good, not amazing, but quite drinkable.
