12-oz. Thanks, Ben! Dark brown with golden amber highlights. Tiny thin tan rim, no lace, no legs. Rich, grainy, husky, almost musky nose. Nice medium body, soft carb. Grainy and peaty mid-palate. Mild nutty finish.

12 oz. bottle - thanks to brewczar for the bonus bottle - pours clear brown with no head or lacing; very raw and grainy aromas; almost like band aids; flavors much more enjoyable with some caramel and malty sweetness; doesn’t quite live up when next to Corne de Brume and Dirty Bastard

On draft at Clark St Alehouse in Chicago. Appearance is clear red/brown hue, thin layer of off-white head dissipates, fair lacing. Smell is subtle, tones of coffee malts, nuts, toffee, and faint hops, underwhelming for FFF. Taste is full of coffee malts with heavy nut presence, some toffee, caramel, and brown sugar, grassy hops provide some balance midway, finishes sweet and dry. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied, smooth and watery texture, mild carbonation. Drinkability is high, this is a very nutty-tasting brown ale with muted aromas and fair texture, easy drinking and masked alcohol presence at 7%, great "session" brown ale that lacks some of the boldness seen in other FFF beers.

12oz botle. Pours dark ruby brown with a very small head. Balanced flavor of roasted malts, caramel and chocolate. A fantastic, very drinkable Scottish Ale.

Pours a deep reddish copper with a minimal off white head. Aroma is caramel, brown sugar, toffee. Taste is sweet smoky malt, toffee, milk chocolate. A medium body with light carbonation. A very nice scottish ale.

After a great trip to FFF I ended up at Charlle’s pub next to my hotel. Pint draft pour came a very rich and deep copper color with a off-white head and not much lacing. Aroma is of flowers and fruit. Smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is of ripe fruit. I am not quite sure how they put this one together, but it is really good and easy to drink
