On tap. Pours deep brown with little head. Not a lot of aroma - hints of hops but mostly caramel malt. Taste is caramel malt and bitter hops, which is a nice taste, albeit not complex. Seems a little "hot" but ABV is not that high - who knows. Good brew - not a favorite.

On tap at the Three Floyds on 7/21/09. Pours brown with tan head. Smokey bread aroma with roasted nut. Sweet nut flavor and coffee bitterness is very well-balanced brown.

On draft at the brewpub. Pours a very dark yet clear amber color with a medium sized creamy beige head. Aroma of nuts, hops and faint malt. Taste of watery nuts, weak toffee, light roasted coffee beans and bread dough. Has a slight tangy citrusy aftertaste.

On draft @ FFF. Pours a dark mahogany colour with reddish undertones. Aroma and flavour of expresso beans, nuts, roasted malts and seltzer water. Pretty bland beer. Expected more from FFF.

Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of citrus hops missed together with caramel and chocolate malt. Interesting flavor with a nice hop profile for a brown ale. Decent, but not my favorite.

Nice - tastes like coffee with hops. I couldn’t drink a ton of it, but a glass or two - excellent. Much more interesting than I expected.
