Syrupy caramelly earthy aroma with buttery notes. Sweet earthy licorice taste with spicy cardamom notes. Mid-bodied. Smooth mouthfeel. Somewhat cloying palate. Sweetish empty spicy aftertaste. Do they even put hops in this stuff? Total absence of bitterness making it somewhat unbalanced. (0.5l bottle, MaxiMat, Charlottenberg.) rosenbergh (990), Helsinki, Finland

Dark reddish brown colour with small off-white head.
Slightly roasted malt, brown sugar, cardemon and bun in aroma.
Very sweet sugary flavour. Thin and watery and way too sweet. Not very beery. oh6gdx (9106), Vasa, Finland

Aroma is quite much caramel malts, some burnt sugar, mild syrup and also some mild spicyness. Flavour is rather much the same. A rather sweet brew low alcohol. A bit like sweet mash. Would probably fit quite well to a traditional Xmas dinner, but as itself it’s too sweet and thin to be enjoyable. OleR (2111), Oslo, Norway
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 31, 2009 0.5 L bottle from MaxiMat, Charlottenberg. Tan, fine-bubbled head, mostly diminishing. Brilliant, dark ruby-brown body. Doughy and sugary dark malts to the nose. Notes of burnt brown sugar. Also a strange soapy scent. Taste is heavily sweet, mostly brown sugar. Notes of caramel and molasses. Hops no option. Quite sticky in the mouth. Burnt sugar in the finish. Far too sweet, I prefer their regular Svagdricka.
