Dec 3, 2004 12 oz glass at the brewpub. Medium copper, faintly cloudy, no head, served too damn cold. Big fruity banana-orange nose, caramel and light sourdough yeastiness..in the body, smooth and fruity, juicy, hints of vanilla/oak...really picks up at the end (and as it warms) with a weird and delicious finish: mint, a bit of anise, and cigar smoke, complex and savory.
