jjpm74 (3087), Stratford, CT 06614, Connecticut, USA Oct 10, 2005 Pours yellow with a thin white head. Smells malty. Tastes slightly bitter and metallic. Not bad for the style. tiggmtl (4179), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jul 20, 2004 Very mild floral hop nose. Very small white head diminishes to ring atop golden body with fine clarity. Sweet and malty with floral hop flavour and decent bitterness. I did not find it to have the traditional spicy hop notes or tasty cereal malt flavours I look for in this style. Decent carbonation. Refreshing. On tap at the brewpub. muzzlehatch (4424), Burlington, Vermont, USA Mar 2, 2002 Updated: Jan 31, 2006Clear golden color, little head; faintly hoppy, floral aroma (hard to distinguish in the smoky haze of the bar); good flavor though, very bitter but with enough malt shining through at the end to give it a good, clean, proper Pils finish. Decent beer, just unspectacular. 5/3/7/4/13 3.2
January 2005: the freshness is stunning, the dry-grassy bitter hops just perfectly pleasing and refreshing on a warm winter’s night, the luminous headless body belying complex dried herbs lurking underneath. Much better than 3 years ago...
