Root beer appearance, with little head; fizzy. Nose decent: wheaty, lemony, with some good caramel malt and a bit of smoke; flavor rather malty but with some nice breadiness. Letdown is in the mouthfeel; artificial carbonation and very thin body lead to a finish that is less impressive as you get throught the pint. Better than the brewer’s Hefe, but just ok.
