On tap @ TBC - Pours a clear deep amber color with a small off white head. Light lacing. Aroma and flavor is caramel malt and faint esters. There is a light hop presence. Medium body. A typical beer brewed for the non beer geeks in Tucson. Wortha try though.

Served on tap at the Brewpub
Arrives with a thin, wispy, tan colored head that sits over a clear, red-brown colored brew. The aroma is toasty, a bit nutty with some sweet berry aromatics and a woody, lightly roasted malt aroma.

The beer is dry, light and quaffable. The dryness is definitely accentuated by the fact that I just ate lunch. There is a significant herbal hop note here as well. As my palate gets used to the beer, it becomes much more fruity and has a touch of sweetness to it. The fruitiness is a combination of berry-like notes and some other generally fruit character it even seems to be a touch cider-like at times. The malty focus of this brew has lots of caramel notes , a touch of toastiness and a nutty note in the finish.

This has some decent flavors to it, but it is a bit out of balance somehow... yet I can’t quite put a finger on it.
