| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 15, 2007 Courtesy of cbkschubert. Pours copper with a 1 1/2 finger white head that subsides but leaves some white lacing. Smells of pine, citrus, some perfume, some doughiness and spicy hints. Taste is bitter with a nice orangy hint with some sweet malt and pepper. Mouthfeel is slightly metallic. Finish is bitter with hints of sweet oranges. The hops are nicely balanced and complimentary on this one. PhillyBeer2112 (2089), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 10, 2007 Handbottled courtesy of cbjschubert - sampled 1 week later. Poured with a fresh lemony sweaty hop aroma (amarillo and centennial?) A touch of fresh bread in the background. Copper color with a medium tight creamy head. Well built palate, with a nice creamy bready malt profile, with just a tingle of spicy, floral hops, leading to a balanced finish that lingers on with a medium bitterness. This is exactly my kind of IPA, characterized by balance yet with fresh hop aromatics and a nice palate. IrishBoy (2722), Bakersfield, California, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 9, 2007 Draft. Straightforward and solidly crafted, this IPA was a pleasure to drink. Light copper body below an inviting white head. Aromas of orange peel, citrus with floral notes and a hint of pine. Starts slightly sweet, but turns nicely bitter. Could have had a bit more malt presence in the backbone. Medium body and medium carbonation. Moderately long finish. Nicely done.
