Commercial Description:
The Granddaddy of Pale Ales, this style got its start as a special brew for English soldiers living in India. Our IPA is a medium bodied ale, with a light copper color characterized by an intense hop flavor, with a full flowery hop aroma and high alcohol content.

on tap @ the brewery. coppery orange hue with a quickly disappearing white head. mild aroma of caramel, pine and citrusy hops. flavor is caramel, canned pineapple, red grapefruit meat and lightly bitter grassy hops on the finish. short lived aftertaste of malt and mild piney hops. medium body and carbonation. it’s not bad. it just needs more bitter!

This had a great aroma to it. I got some peach and citrus in this. Flavor was pretty good but not that special light citrus bitterness.

Growler via cbkschubert: Pours a light copper color with an off white head. Aroma, pine, some earthy notes, and some caramel. Flavor, caramel, pine, citrus, earthy with a nice mellow carbonation.

hand bottled from growler 12 oz via cbkshubert, thanks. Pours orangey yewllow with a 1.5 finger head. Aroma is big and hoppy and full of pine. The taste is sweet and mellow and slihgtly floral. Curiuous of the abv as it does taste relatively strong for an IPA

Courtesy of cbkschubert. Pours copper with a 1 1/2 finger white head that subsides but leaves some white lacing. Smells of pine, citrus, some perfume, some doughiness and spicy hints. Taste is bitter with a nice orangy hint with some sweet malt and pepper. Mouthfeel is slightly metallic. Finish is bitter with hints of sweet oranges. The hops are nicely balanced and complimentary on this one.

Handbottled courtesy of cbjschubert - sampled 1 week later. Poured with a fresh lemony sweaty hop aroma (amarillo and centennial?) A touch of fresh bread in the background. Copper color with a medium tight creamy head. Well built palate, with a nice creamy bready malt profile, with just a tingle of spicy, floral hops, leading to a balanced finish that lingers on with a medium bitterness. This is exactly my kind of IPA, characterized by balance yet with fresh hop aromatics and a nice palate.

Handbottled from a growler by cbkschubert! Thanks Craig! Nose of citrus and piney hops; beautiful clear copper with a small straw colored head; flavor of medium hop bitterness from the medium body with a nice mild hop finish! Pretty good IPA!

Draft. Straightforward and solidly crafted, this IPA was a pleasure to drink. Light copper body below an inviting white head. Aromas of orange peel, citrus with floral notes and a hint of pine. Starts slightly sweet, but turns nicely bitter. Could have had a bit more malt presence in the backbone. Medium body and medium carbonation. Moderately long finish. Nicely done.
