The Granddaddy of Pale Ales, this style got its start as a special brew for English soldiers living in India. Our IPA is a medium bodied ale, with a light copper color characterized by an intense hop flavor, with a full flowery hop aroma and high alcohol content.

Golden with decent head and nice lacing. Aroma is a good grapefruit, some pine, medium sweet. Taste is strong pine/grapefruit, slight sweetness. Firm body. Unexpectedly very nice IPA.

Growler acquired in trade with cbkschubert (thanks!!!). Poured a medium orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of juicy oranges, orange peels, all around citrus and light pine. Tastes of citrus, floral, and fruity. Starts off sugary sweet and ends in a light grapefruit finish. Definite hop presence with out being a bitter hop bomb.

Courtesy of cbkschubert. Pours copper with a 1 1/2 finger white head that subsides but leaves some white lacing. Smells of pine, citrus, some perfume, some doughiness and spicy hints. Taste is bitter with a nice orangy hint with some sweet malt and pepper. Mouthfeel is slightly metallic. Finish is bitter with hints of sweet oranges. The hops are nicely balanced and complimentary on this one.

Medium copper color. Medium head. Aroma is floral hops and citrusy (orange peel). A medium bodied IPA. Malts are nutty and slightly sweet. Hops are fairly bitter and grapefruity. Nicely balanced towards the hops. It’s hoppy without being over the top. Very drinkable IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Nice big head with a good copper color. Decent hoppy aroma. But again the balance is off ... this is too astringent, bitterly hopped without an underpining malt body. Vapid.

hand bottled from growler 12 oz via cbkshubert, thanks. Pours orangey yewllow with a 1.5 finger head. Aroma is big and hoppy and full of pine. The taste is sweet and mellow and slihgtly floral. Curiuous of the abv as it does taste relatively strong for an IPA

Handbottled from a growler by cbkschubert! Thanks Craig! Nose of citrus and piney hops; beautiful clear copper with a small straw colored head; flavor of medium hop bitterness from the medium body with a nice mild hop finish! Pretty good IPA!

(Draught)

The beer after relocating to my glass from the tap pours a slightly bemused amber color with a medium sized head that is creamy in texture and a bright white color, the lace a silky sheet to drape the glass. Nice hop floral spiciness at the front the malt sweetness hit you in the middle and a fresh citrus like crispness at the end. Start is ambrosial, nicely malted with the top moderate in feel. Finish has a benign acidity, the hops powerful but not overbearing in their spicy bite, very dry aftertaste that lingers long on the palate, a fine drinking beer that’s a treat.
