Did an aggressive fill and wound up with a very nice rich tan foamy head. Lots of chocolate flavors here and very thick on the tongue. Just a dash of bitterness here but really loads of chocolate and some roasted malts and coffee. Thanks to both of you guys. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Hand bottled 12 oz.
Thin fleeting head over an opaque black brew.
Pleasant aroma not of coffee, but of roasting coffee; extra point for the first time I’ve experienced this aroma in a beer.
Tart bitter flavor that finishes dry and hides it’s alcohol well. An interestingly different Impy worth a try.

Very nice aroma chocolate and coffee beans. Pours deep brown with a thin black head. Initial flavor of roast coffee, with some dry burnt notes. This transitions to notes of molasses, nuts, and vanilla. Bitter finish that is a bit prickly on the palate. Nice beer. jason (1623), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA
