Bottle. Blind tasting. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma is of roasted malt, coffee and chocolate, so is the taste, quit plesant. Medium to full body with a light warming alcoholic finish. Quit good!

Dark brown color. It has the character of a watewred down Danish coffee, with light phenolic aroma, a lot of caramel flavor and sweetness. Pleasant.

Jun 8, 2008 Courtesy of Papsoe, growler. It’s brown/black and the aroma has notes of roasted malt and licorice. The flavour has notes of roasted malt, light hints of smoke, licorice, a light bitterness and hints of alcohol. It’s very harmonic and nice and the body is very full!

Very rich and solid body with sweetish burned malt and lots of licorice. Some malt astringency in the finish. A pleasant and well balanced imperial stout. 190408
