Thunderhead Headlight Low Carb

On tap at the Chicken Coop brewpub location in Grand Island, NE. Very pale yellow in color with a faint white head. Medium carbonation. Has a sweet malty aroma reminiscent of a German wheat beer. Lemon flavor with detectable banana. Light in body, yet very flavorful! Wow, this is unexpectedly good. I was ready to hate this beer before tasting it. I’m shocked at the amount of flavor coming from this "low carb" beer. It has a delightful mid-palate sweetness. Actually finishes with a little bit of hop bitterness. Is Trevor lying to us here? Can this really be a "low carb" beer? If so, it really breaks the rules in the taste category as compared to swill like Mich Ultra.
