It has a very herbal fruity taste with moderate bitterness. Rich, velvety finish. I think I have overlooked this beer too often. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

Overtook my senses. And it does have a very fruity aroma to it as well. Bought it just because it was a new IPA i haven’t tryed yet, and at $1.49, ill probably buy it again. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 21, 2007 My first beer from Thunderhead brewing. The IPA poured with a smallish head and a coppery color. It was not clear and had slight haze. The alcohol was a good balance to the hops at 6.7%. The IPA did have a slightly metalic taste . The hoppy bitterness is excellent. The bitter tastes does linger an area that other IPAs fail. mreeves (257), Sammamish, Washington, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jun 10, 2007 Straw golden color, fairly light on head retention and carbonation. A sort of skunky, hoppy aroma. Fairly unpleasant really. Flavor is thin, dominated by hops. There’s just not much here and this is a pretty mediocre IPA at best. rshah16 (39), Illinois, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 22, 2007 A tea colored pour and a grassy/grapefruit aroma greeted me with this IPA. Head is a half inch or so with some retention and a nice lacing on the glass. Hops completely dominate the flavor and they leave a biting bitter after taste. Midway through the glass some pine made an appearance but it is deep down. This beer is all about hops and malt is almost non-existant.
