The label reads " Bursting with Hops" and this beer definitely does just that. Has a dark, hazy body to it, sort of orangish with a white head that disappears immediately....I liked the dry-hoppiness to this beer. It is the best or most hoppy beer out there, but it definitely is one of my GO-TO’S!! At $7.99 case, and 6.7% abv, this is a phenomenal deal. Watch out for the aftertaste though, I found inconsistency from 6-pack to 6-pack izzy (10), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 11, 2007 Bottle. Light gold in color, lingering head. A little citrusy and on the bitter side, and a large hop content. Follows their slogan "bursting with hops." Though in the world of IPAs, a bit disappointing. mephisto (1144), Taiwan

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 7, 2007 This is a good IPA, doesn’t come on with overpowering hops. Slight aftertaste, alittle bitter but not unwelcomingly lasting. Aroma is slightly fruity. POD (198), USA

Full bodied mouth feel. Flavor is citrus & hops. Aftertaste is sharp and bitter. Nice IPA. I would drink it again. blkitson (137), Westerville, Ohio, USA

This one ihas a rather orange rusty color and does develop a nice head. Has a nice citrus smell to it and can also taste in the after taste. Not bad - had worse - had better pivo (2537), Germany
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 7, 2006 Metallic nose, gold color, creamy frothy head. Quick sweet apricot note gets quickly overpowered but a huge, mouth-filling bitter. Not a good hop bitter - just bitter bitter. Thinish, body and an off balance. I love big bold IPAs. Normally, they can’t be hoppy or bitter enough for me. But it has to be a good bitter. This really gives IPAs a bad name and, without checking, it is for sure the lowest score I’ve ever given an IPA. Haven’t been in the States for a while at the time of rating this and this was first American micro I tried much to my dissappointment. dkoonce (899), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 27, 2006 Clear amber, with a persistent thin white head. Fairly malty aroma for an IPA. Medium body with a fair amount of malt. Slight cardboard flavor. Not much finish.
