Thunderhead Montys Pale Ale

On draft at the Chicken Coop Brewpub in Grand Island, Nebraska. Poured amber with a nice white head that left OK lacing. Nose is hoppy. Mouthfeel is good, and flavors are clean malts and hops. Not a complex brew, but enjoyable. Cannot rate this as the very best APA, but it is quite decent.

On tap at the brewpub. Slight floral nose and a good mouthfeel. Has a pleasant hoppiness to the aroma and a full hoppy presence to the flavor from beginning to mid palate and through the finish. The aftertaste is of toasted malt. While this is by no means a great pale ale, it does not suck and I’d say is likely brewed for a wide range of tastes, but not a hophead’s beer.
