rkuhnel (1135), Eureka, California, USA Aug 22, 2006 I drank this one on tap on August 8th at the Chicken Coop in Grand Island, Nebraska. Poured a golden corn colored yellow. Nice white head with medium lacing. Crisp nose with a fruit overtone. Palate is crisp and clean with a nice touch of hops. Flavor is decent, and the finish is OK. Overall a pilsner in kind of the german tradition. Suppose considering this was Nebraska this was made with corn. Overall a well balanced brew that was enjoyable to drink. Sledge Jr (2720), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Aug 8, 2006 On tap at the Chicken Coop in Grand Island. This latest version is called "Henry’s Hardass Pissed-off pilsner." I can’t imagine that it is a different recipe. Whoever first entered this listing did not rate the beer originally. Pours golden yellow (dense, not pale) with a medium white head. Has a faint lager yeast aroma with a serious corn sweetness to the nose. Nice job of lacing. The corn flavor is very pronounced. Is there even corn in this? If not, why is it so grainy? Has an OK pilsner-like mouth tingle. Fruitiness is the first major out-of-place sensation. The finish is the best part- a good balance between bitter and sweet. Not great, but certainly drinkable.
