Cask at JDW in Hammersmith during "Spoons Fest in a Day" crawl, 2nd Nov 08. Thin, with a sickly sweet taste. Cheap cherries and berries taste, no balance. Dark reddish brown colour with good lacing though. Overall, unpleasant.

Cask, The Lord Keeper of the Great Seal, Oadby. Black with a cream head. Aromas are light roast malts with earthy, nutty hops. Flavours are sweet chocolate malts with coffee. Quite full in the mouth. Gentle hops on the finish. A good mild.

From cask at the Henglers Circus. Pours deep dark brown with a dense and tan head. Roasted malty and somewhat butterish aroma. Roasted malty and slight fruity flavoured with a mild bitterness. Slight acidic into a finish that keeps the mild roasted note hanging on. Smooth and slight breadish.

[Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell.] Tawny with a dense beige head; thin body, some weak malts; gentle bitterness and some sweetness to finish. Rather plain.
