George V, Brompton. A lovely soft and darkly malty best bitter with the hops well soaked into the malt. Mmm, very yummy. Long lingering hop soaked malt flavours - chocolate, fruit, tree bark, it’s all here and it all blends well. Enough individual flavours to keep the flavour spotter happy, yet a great drink as well. Awesome.

Cask conditioned - handpump - JDW Northampton. A darkish brown coloured beer with a whitish head. No aroma at all. Taste is dry and a little nutty. Some bitterness also but just dull and boring.

Cask (handpulled) at the Babington Arms Derby. Tacky, sickly, aroma. Rather sludgy fruit flavours, bottom of barrel stuff. For all these faults it delivered a half decent sweet malt finish, looks like I may have caught this on a bad day.
