Commercial Description:
Clean in both hop aroma and finish. It is as close to a lager as an ale gets.

Tap.

Clear light ale, faint fruit aromas, almost in ESB territory, but a very subdued flavor with a whisp of hops on the tail end. Perfectly nice, very clean, easy-drinking.

On tap at the Tied House in San Jose. Alpine Gold is a sparkling pale gold ale with a small white head. The aroma is of fresh pine hops. The mouthfeel is watery and chalky. The flavor is crisp and quick, with a tiny puff of bitterness. The aroma really saves this one, even if it seems a little out of place.

An average blonde ale. Pour was very very pale. Aroma is mild. Mouthfeel is smooth but still weak. Flavor is not bad. Very malty and full of barley. Not a fan of blonds and this is the norm.

On tap. Pale golden body with a thin white head. The flavor is for me close to an ordinary German style lager, relatively dry and a bit harsh. A smooth but watery mouthfeel,. Short aftertaste.

Draft at the San Jose brewery. Pours fizzy yellow with some white head that disappears momentarily. Very little carb, less body. Clingy finish of spicy hop.

Pours golden with thin head. Pretty nice mouthfeel for a blond, quite smooth. Decent beer for the style, but I’m not very partial to blonds (beer that is).

Light gold color. Medium head. Aroma is malty and fruity. A medium bodied gold ale/lager. Malts are mild, fruity and sweet. Hops are slightly spicy and more prominent than in most gold ales. Mild flavor. Smooth taste. Well balanced. Nice taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Nice color for a blonde. Faint but interesting nose. A good flavor with unthreatening but well balanced hops. Short finish and a bit weak feel to the mouth.
