Clear light ale, faint fruit aromas, almost in ESB territory, but a very subdued flavor with a whisp of hops on the tail end. Perfectly nice, very clean, easy-drinking. yesyouam (602), Fairport, New York, USA

Alpine Gold is a sparkling pale gold ale with a small white head. The aroma is of fresh pine hops. The mouthfeel is watery and chalky. The flavor is crisp and quick, with a tiny puff of bitterness. The aroma really saves this one, even if it seems a little out of place. rmussman (905), California, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 5, 2007 An average blonde ale. Pour was very very pale. Aroma is mild. Mouthfeel is smooth but still weak. Flavor is not bad. Very malty and full of barley. Not a fan of blonds and this is the norm. Beer2000 (1827), Kristiansand, Norway
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Sep 19, 2006 On tap. Pale golden body with a thin white head. The flavor is for me close to an ordinary German style lager, relatively dry and a bit harsh. A smooth but watery mouthfeel,. Short aftertaste.

Decent beer for the style, but I’m not very partial to blonds (beer that is). beerguy101 (3946), Newark, California, USA
