Commercial Description:
Clean in both hop aroma and finish. It is as close to a lager as an ale gets.

Tap. Golden yellow. Very smooth and a little malty with some hops in the aroma. A hint of fruit in the flavor. Pretty good for a blond ale.

Light gold color. Medium head. Aroma is malty and fruity. A medium bodied gold ale/lager. Malts are mild, fruity and sweet. Hops are slightly spicy and more prominent than in most gold ales. Mild flavor. Smooth taste. Well balanced. Nice taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

On tap at the Tied House in San Jose. Alpine Gold is a sparkling pale gold ale with a small white head. The aroma is of fresh pine hops. The mouthfeel is watery and chalky. The flavor is crisp and quick, with a tiny puff of bitterness. The aroma really saves this one, even if it seems a little out of place.

Nice sweet aroma with nice spice. Appearence is straw with minimal head. Flavour is great with initial sweetness that finishes with a fine graininess and bitterness. Well crafted.

This is a solid blonde. A slight spicy hop aroma hits the nose. The first taste is completely carbonation and quickly turns into a slight sourness. Smooth would be the word to describe this palette!

Why go to a local bar for a $5 pint when you can come here for fresh brewed beer 22 oz. for $5 or $3 pint. That being said, they have $6 growlers. Fantastic price. You get what you pay for? Decent beer. Not hoppy at all. Mildly sweet. Nothing spectacular. In the Castro area? Cannot beat the beer or the restaurant.

Pours golden with thin head. Pretty nice mouthfeel for a blond, quite smooth. Decent beer for the style, but I’m not very partial to blonds (beer that is).
