Jul 14, 2009 Draft at the brewpub. A pitch black beer wit a tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt and oatmeal. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt and a bit of oatmeal, leading to a dry and lightly roasted finish.

Feb 10, 2009 On tap at the Tied House in Mountain View. Nearly black in color with an average beige head. Roasty aroma. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, and water. Yeah, it’s a little watery for a stout. Drinkable but not really impressive.

Aug 10, 2008 Up front roasted smell. I am excited about tasting this beer for the first time! The roast follows through without much body to this beer.
Hmmmm now that I notice that it is supposed to be a dry stout, I understand. Hits the style perfectly!
The has a slightly grassy tang to it... almost not noticable on the taste. A good beer.

does not count  Jul 16, 2008 Awesome beer by Tied House brewery, it taste like a mix between Guinness and Sam Adams Black lager. The color is deep and the smell is sweet and malty. Palate is mellow and very smooth with nice flavor at the end.
