| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 9, 2006 Draft at the San Jose brewery. Nitro pour. A couple minutes later, you can;t even tell. Then again, san Jose’s a little hotter than what I’m used to. This one had an honest-to-goodness nose on it, though. Roast and coffee. Yay for Tied House beers you can smell! The body’s watery for a stout, and not too awfully bubbly. The flavor doesn’t take you very far, especially for a stout, but it gives you a little love. Probably the closest TH comes to really making a step in any direction toward a flavor or a style/aesthetic choice. jazz88 (2238), San Francisco, California, USA
