The color is deep and the smell is sweet and malty. Palate is mellow and very smooth with nice flavor at the end. yesyouam (611), Fairport, New York, USA

The aroma is of deep roast and chocolate malt. It has a medium body and is reasonably smooth-- not chalky like most of the other Tied House offerings. The flavor si of dark roast, perhaps raisin, but dry-- not that sweet. It’s perhaps a bit light, but it’s a nice stout. In my opinion, this is this brewery’s best offering. rmussman (906), California, USA

Hmmmm now that I notice that it is supposed to be a dry stout, I understand. Hits the style perfectly!
The has a slightly grassy tang to it... almost not noticable on the taste. A good beer. jazz88 (2239), San Francisco, California, USA
